During the Olympic Games have party at the newly renovated port district!
Who doesn’t have tickets for 2016 will not be out of the party. With approximately 3km long, the Boulevard will be the meeting point for locals and tourists during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. With free admission, the Olympic Boulevard project will broadcast live the major competitions on giant screens around the complex. There will be 30 days of concerts, sporting and cultural attractions.
The Boulevard’s Olympic will be divided into three areas: Maravilha, Amanhã, and Artes. Each will have its own attractions and form a complex for locals and tourists who are accompanying the Games.
From 4 August until the end of the Paralympic Games in September there will be more than 100 concerts on the Boulevard, with appearances by well-known Brazilian and international stars as well as up-and-coming names. Artists, street performers, fireworks and light shows will keep the crowds entertained by night and day. There will even be a hot air balloon tethered near the waterfront, taking passengers 150m (nearly 500ft) into the air for breathtaking views across the Olympic city.
