Carassauga Brazil Pavilion

Passaporte CarassaugaThe fourth edition of the Brazilian pavilion at Carassauga Festival of Cultures will take place on Friday May 27th (7:30 pm – 12am), Saturday May 28th (1pm – 12am), and Sunday May 29th (1pm – 7pm). For the first time, it will take place at Mississauga SportZone (formerly known as the Hershey SportZone) and also for the first time, the pavilion is organized by Itabras Entertainment Productions Inc., producer of the Toronto International BrazilFest, the largest Brazilian festival in Ontario.

In 2016, the pavilion will be held by the president of Itabras, Arilda de Oliveira and her competent staff. “The proposal for this edition of the Festival is to maintain the success already achieved in previous years, celebrating the diversity of our culture,” says Arilda.

The Brazilian pavilion, called Carassauga Brazil Pavilion is one of the most visited throughout the festival. “Our rich culture, cuisine, artists and the joy of the Brazilian people are contagious to all who are around,” said the organizer. “Our pavilion receives visitors from different nationalities and our people are always very receptive.”

Where there is a Brazilian, you can’t miss its good music and its delicious food. Thinking about it, the Brazilian pavilion will have a special area with booths where visitors can get a taste of Brazilian cuisine, like the famous steak, barbecue, cheese bread, açaí, tapioca, etc. Obviously you can’t miss the delicious drinks, like the famous caipirinha, tropical juices, rum, and more.

The musical part will include great local artists, who will present Forró, Samba, Bossa Nova, and Brazilian Country Music. Our pavilion is delighted with the upcoming opening concert featuring Lucas & Matheus, a successful duo in Brazil and even in Portugal, where they have received 10 gold records and three platinum records in a career that has spanned over 20 years.

On top of that, there will be an exclusive area for the kids!
