29/5000GINGER CIDER WITH MINT
Cori Arthur e Northumberland Tourism
Great Britain is one of the main consumers of hard (alcoholic) cider. With British influence in Ontario’s Northumberland County, it’s no surprise that the Apple Route is part of its local heritage. You can purchase products from recipes locally in the region.
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves
1 piece of fresh sliced ginger root
1 piece of lemon zest (taken from the skin of a fresh lemon)
1 teaspoon maple syrup
6 ounces of locally produced hard (alcoholic) apple cider (or farm fresh cider for a mocktail)
1 sprig of fresh mint (decoration)
