Wave 78 – Read the Latest Issue

The cover story of this edition is about the 2018 elections in Brazil. We present the profile of the 13 candidates for the presidency of the republic and also the polling places in Canada.

Arthur Viana interviewed Dr. Ilan Nachim, a Brazilian-Canadian family physician who presented us with a medical perspective on the legalization of marijuana in Canada.

In the Tourism section, Christian Pedersen starts a series on the capitals of the 13 Canadian provinces, starting with Halifax. In the Community section, Bruno Sibella explores the Tri-cities —Waterloo, Kitchener, and Cambridge— where the Brazilian community has been expanding. Marta Almeida writes about Brazilian solidarity in her column Nem Te Conto.
