About Us
WAVE is an Ontario-based ethnocultural publication dedicated to the Portuguese and Brazilian communities in Canada, available in both print (Wave Magazine) and digital (Brazilian Wave) formats. Published by BRZ Group Inc., the magazine operates with a lean organizational structure and a collaborative production model that brings together volunteer (pro bono) contributors and freelance professionals engaged according to each project’s needs.

Our editorial team is composed of a broad network of journalists, writers, photographers, and creative professionals who collaborate with Wave on selected features and special projects. This flexible and collaborative approach combines the passion and insight of volunteer contributors with the expertise of freelance specialists, resulting in a dynamic editorial process that encourages diverse perspectives, creative agility, and consistently high storytelling standards.
