How did Fernando become a “Dog Guru”?
It is a dog’s life and he is happily in charge

Fernando Silva, Kamloops, BC, is the owner of The Brazilian Dog Guru and he shows us that it is possible to follow your dreams and convert a life-long passion into a viable career.
He enjoyed travelling the world working with Club Med and built solid business skills within the hospitality and automotive fields. But nothing beats the satisfaction of working with what you love. Setting up in Kamloops, British Columbia, he focused on local networking, honing his Canadian English and becoming certified as a dog trainer.
Keep an open mind, accept that you’ll need to prove yourself and seek certification to support your natural skills. Get creative with your marketing and show up where your prospects are.
