Interview with Esequiel Tiburcio
Synopsis of Episode 8
Taking a leap of faith in yourself pays off

Esequiel Tiburcio, Montreal, QC, while working on event production for the Rio 2016 Olympics, cultivated a large international network of contacts. This helped him land an incredible job with Cirque de Soleil, the entertainment phenomenon in Québec, Canada. Brave and persevering in his decision to settle with his wife in a new country, he recommends: “Don’t be afraid. Take a leap of faith, do some planning.”
A pandemic-imposed hiatus on Esequiel’s career made him turn to woodworking, a skill he learned at his father’s side many years prior, and developed a renewed passion.
Wherever life takes you, follow with courage. Have confidence in yourself and look in unexpected places to find your passion. Perfect the language of those with whom you wish and need to communicate.
- Check jobs opportunities at Cirque de Solei – Beyond performances, the company aims to positively impact people, communities and the planet with what we know best: creativity and art. Find opportunities in Montreal, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, London (UK) and On Tour.
