Fish meat is a rich source of vitamin A, B and D in addition to minerals such as iodine, cobalt, calcium and phosphorus. These last two are important for the brain because they deter mental fatigue. The amount of fat varies a lot from fish to fish: an eel has around 20% of fat and a weakfish, around of 5%.

  • 500g of dogfish
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 packet of onion soup
  • 6 table spoons of flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1 grated onion
  • ½ cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup of bread crumb
  • Vegetable oil to fry

How to make it

Combine the fish and the milk in a pan and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and mash this mixture with a fork. Add the onion soup mix and stir. Return the pan to the stove for 5 more minutes. Then pour the mixture into a bowl and add the flour, egg, parsley, onion, cheese, salt and black pepper to taste. Mix it well and let it sit for 20 minutes. Shape the burgers, coat them with bread crumbs and fry them in hot vegetable oil.
