Passion fruit mousse

A very popular Brazilian dessert!


  • 4 plain gelatin sheets
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 ¼ can of passion fruit juice (use condensed milk can for measure)
  • 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 12 drops yellow food colouring

How to prepare

Soak gelatin sheets in cold water. Then throw away water and dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add condensed milk, passion fruit juice and food colouring and mix in the blender. Carefully fold in beaten egg whites and refrigerate. Serves 8.
